（ICPDS 2023）CALL FOR PAPERS

The Fourth International Conference on Power Data Science (ICPDS 2023) will be held in Shanghai from 5th November to 6th November 2023. The conference aims to provide a platform for researchers, developers and educators from academia and industry to display their achievements and share their experience. At the same time, it provides a forum for innovative research, development, implementation and application in the field of power data science to jointly promote the breakthrough of research in the field of data science and the improvement of industry.

The proceedings of ICPDS 2023 will be published on the IET Digital Library, IEEE Xplore and indexed in IET Inspec, and submitted for indexing in Ei Compendex and Scopus. The program committee will recommend some high-quality papers to international journals.

The conference invites scientists and engineers in the area of data science and power systems to submit original research and application papers on topics of Data Science on Power systems, including but not limited to the following areas in tracks:

1. Main methods of data science, including: Big data management and application, Data quality and data preparation, Data science infrastructure, Data science machine learning, etc;
2. Key technologies of data science, including Big data mining and knowledge management, Data security and privacy, Data visualization, etc;
3. The theoretical basis of data science, including: Mathematical problems in data science, Data scientific calculation theory, Data scientific evaluation and measurement, Power data intelligent theory and method, Power data intelligent calculation model, etc;
4. New power system data science and application, including: Construction of power equipment industrial Internet platform, Data-driven power system, Data-driven renewable energy system, Data-driven intelligent power generation and smart grid, Intelligent early warning and fault diagnosis of power equipment, Data-driven power intelligent application system, Integrated energy system, etc.
5. Smart grid technologies (for power generation, transmission and distribution systems, and energy conversion and storage devices), Smart grid communication and information technologies, Distributed generation and micro-grid, Electric vehicle charging technology and system integration, Micro-grid applications and islanding operation, etc;
6. Smart grid measurements, protection, control and operation, Physical, cyber and system security for smart grid, Computation intelligence and IEDs for smart grids, Sensing, communication and smart metering infrastructures, Demand side management, smart buildings and home automation;
7. Diagnostics, self-healing and reliability of smart grids, Power quality issues and FACTS devices, Electricity markets, incentives, regulation and pricing, Smart grid interoperability, standards and codes, Demand response and management through smart grid technology, Renewable energy integration and storage, Smart grid planning, economic, environment and policy issues.

Papers will be double-blindly reviewed without the authors' names and affiliations included. Furthermore, self-references that reveal the author's identity, e.g., "We previously showed (Smith, 1991) ...", must be avoided. Instead, use citations such as "Smith (1991) previously showed ...".
